This is a photograph taken in the summer of 1968, during
a visit to Japan. It is my little sister, Julie, and a Japanese child. The two of them discovered
each other while we were lunching in a park and they played together for two hours. Neither of
them could speak the other's language, but it didn't matter at all. I've always thought the adults of the world could learn something from children like these. - Lynne Parker
