Text Box: The Arts The Heisman Fine Arts Gallery and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta will conduct an art show and auction beginning at 6:30 pm Oct. 24 at the church, 3501 Walton Way. The auction will include a variety of artwork tailored to the variety of interests and tastes m the area There will be original oils, lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, watercolors and positones with opening bids ranging from $50 to $100. There will be a $10 admission fee, which will include a complimentary buffet, wine, beer and soft drinks throughout the evening. Art Auction

October 24, 1992

Gayla Keesee was Fundraising Chair for the Heisman Fine Arts Gallery Art Auction.  She was even interviewed on WRDW (Channel 12—local) on their noonday show.

 

The evening included heavy hors d’oeuvres and lively bidding.  Many members and community guests took away great bargains on lithographs, etchings, oils, sculptures, and limited edition prints.  Even those who didn’t buy anything had a great time.
